Another African Adventure Begins…

It’s becoming normality for me now to say goodbye to my family and friends back home to jet off on an African adventure. This time I’m going to teach in an international school in Kampala, Uganda. This will be my eighth visit to Africa since my first visit as an 11 year old girl. I don’t know what it was about this continent that made me fall in love with it at such a young age- the people, the lifestyle, the ‘freedom’, sense of exploration, the sights, the smells, probably a mixture of all of the above. I don’t know of anyone who hasn’t visited Africa and not fallen in love with it.

I decided to start this blog as a means of keeping everyone back home (who is interested) updated on what I’m getting up to on this new venture. I will attach some photos as I go along and give you a little taste of Ugandan life, and hope that one day I will see you too in this wonderful continent.

I’ll leave you with a taste of why I’m returning…
